Since 1897, St. Mary School has been forming young hearts and minds in faith, knowledge, and service. Founded by the School Sisters of Notre Dame, our school has grown from a one-room schoolhouse into a thriving campus serving preschool through eighth grade.
With a commitment to academic excellence and a nurturing Catholic environment, we provide small class sizes, personalized instruction, and strong foundational learning. In the past five years, our enrollment has grown by 65%, allowing us to expand our staff and programs. Recent changes—including the addition of a preschool for three-year-olds, the separation of first and second grades, and the splitting of third and fourth grade classrooms—reflect our dedication to meeting the needs of every child.
At St. Mary School, we honor our rich tradition while embracing innovation, preparing students to live out their faith and lead with confidence in today’s world.
At St. Mary School, our mission is rooted in the heart of Catholic education—partnering with parents to form the whole child in mind, body, and spirit. Guided by the Gospel, we strive to promote faith development, academic excellence, and a life of service so that our students are prepared to live as Christian citizens in today’s world.
We encourage our students to be kind, loving, and respectful; to embrace life-long learning; to develop the unique talents and gifts given to them by God; to serve others both locally and globally; and to reach their highest academic potential.
Our dedicated teachers and staff meet students where they are, nurturing their growth and helping them flourish in both their academic skills and their faith. We continue to help our students embrace the productive struggle—recognizing that learning is hard work—and foster a culture that honors the process, not just the end result. Through this, we guide our students to develop a growth mindset and the academic grit needed to persevere, adapt, and thrive.
It is an honor to walk alongside our students and families on this journey, celebrating their successes and supporting them through challenges as they grow in knowledge, virtue, and grace.
This year, our school theme—“We Are Children of God”—reminds us that we are a family in Christ. Together, we seek to see Jesus in one another, to encourage and lift each other up, and to joyfully work toward building the Kingdom of God.
It is my prayer that each child who walks through our doors knows they are deeply loved by God, valued as part of our school family, and called to share His light with the world.
